The Certified Pharmacy Technician program is a 10-week program delivered through a flexible virtual learning format combined with a required in-person practicum to support hands-on skill development. Designed for working adults and independent learners, the program allows students to balance their education with professional and personal responsibilities.
The program includes 50 hours of online didactic instructions delivered through an interactive learning platform accessible from a personal laptop or desktop computer. Students receive academic support and guidance from experienced instructors and advisors throughout their coursework.
To reinforce theoretical knowledge with real-world application, students complete a 80-hours in-person practicum with varies pharmacies where they develop essential pharmacy technician skills in a supervised, hands-on learning environment.

The pharmacy technician course is to help students build the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to start a career as a pharmacy technician. Students will learn pharmacy calculations, medication preparation, sterile techniques, pharmacy technology, and professional workplace skills. Graduates complete an externship for real-world experience and are prepared to pursue national certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
