Courses
Certified Nurse Assistant
12-week program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to preform basic healthcare services required of nursing assistance. Integration of skills and concepts with hands-on labs and clinicals. Classroom training is virtual. Includes cost of license exam fee.
Pharmacy Technician
10-week program deliverered through a flexible virtual-learning format combined with a required in-person practicum to support hands-on skill development. Includes 50 hours of online didactic instruction delivered through an interactive learning platform accessible online. Cost of the license exam is included.
Technology and Customer Service
Learn Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite, and office ettiquette and communication. Students complete the course with the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.
Summer Youth Program
Includes paid, virtual Youth Employment Workshop with professional development, resume and interviewing workshops, guest speakers, and field trips. Followed by paid internships and job placements.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class C
Classroom instruction, vehicle safety, behind-the-wheel training with backing, parking, and safe driving techniques. Students obtain their CDL-Class C and then receive job-seeking assistance and placements.
Entrepreneurship
Online course covering how to start your own business, marketing strategies, start up basics, financial planning, team leadership, understanding your customer, analytics, and ethics. Earn an industry specific certification.
Food Handler’s Card
Covers key Illinois state requirements for safely handling food: safe food storage and preparation, time and temperature contols, and cleaning and sanitizing. Includes job-seeking assistance and placement.
