The Computer Office Skills training offering exposes students to, and equips students with a minimum 25 word-per-minute typing skill, skills in composing letters, creating spreadsheets using formulas, merging data with other applications, creating printed reports, sorting, extracting and analyzing reports, charts, graphs, and presentations, web pages. The Computer Office Skills program offers the opportunity to develop intermediate level skills in typing, word processing, spreadsheets, record management and communication skills needed for the office work environment to successfully maintain or advance in their place of work. Microsoft® Word Expert teaches students how to use a variety of intermediate and advanced features to create and format business documents including online forms and personalized mailings.
Microsoft Excel 2013 Core teaches the information worker how to work with different types of documents using a variety of core and intermediate features to create and edit professional-looking spreadsheets for a variety of purposes and situations. Microsoft® Excel Expert teaches students how to use a variety of intermediate and advanced features to merge workbooks, perform data analysis, and audit formulas in spreadsheets.
This Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 Certification Guide teaches the information worker how to create and manage presentations using a variety of core and intermediate features.
This Microsoft® Access 2013 Certification Guide teaches students how to design data tables, select appropriate data types and relate tables logically. Students will create and modify database objects including tables, queries, forms, and reports, and will apply intermediate skills to streamline data entry, ensure data integrity, and analyze data.
This Microsoft® Outlook 2013 Certification Guide teaches the information worker how to use the various
elements such as Mail, Calendar or Contacts to coordinate communications and collaborations with others. The user will acquire fundamental concepts and skills, building on this foundation as they increase their productivity in communication and sharing information with others.
