Requirements for admission to computer courses at KAMITH generally range from a minimum of Grade 8 to two years of college work. Admissions are conducted throughout the year. Those applicants who apply during the course of class training will be given first consideration to be enrolled in the next course. Please refer to individual course requirements. No person shall be excluded from admissions, denied any benefits or subjected to any form of discrimination because of sex, age, creed, religion, national origin or physical handicap.
Tuition differs from course to course, and is generally determined by course duration. KAMITH has a flexible payment plan that allows students to make payment on an installment basis.
Counselors are available to guide students, provide and help students understand options available, clarify goals, and helping to achieve academic plan and goals. Counseling service is free to students.
KAMITH has several testing and placement applications to help students identify their strengths and prepare for their academic experience. Post program completion evaluation softwares enable students to access their skills and work readiness to enter the job market.
Every graduating student should have achieved a pass grade of 'C' or above, calculated from percentage scores obtained in tests conducted at regular intervals, home assignments and a final examination. (This is in addition to the mandatory percentage attendance). Students falling below the 'C' grade are deemed to fail the course and will need to repeat the class.
In compliance with established Rules and Regulations, and with 105 ILCS 425 of the Illinois statutes governing Private Business and Vocational Schools, and in pursuance of our policy of seeking the greatest satisfaction of our students, KAMITH refund policy allows a student to withdraw from a course at any time before 80% of the course grounds is covered. A refund of part of the tuition shall be made to the student as provided for in the Enrollment Agreement. Refer to your Enrollment Agreement for details.
KAMITH believes in self-discipline and Christian courtesy as necessary to promote good social relationships and learning in an academic environment. While we may not be able to spell out a detailed "dos" and "don'ts", KAMITH wishes to encourage its students to respect the principles of decent and appropriate conduct at all times, and to eschew behavior that does not conduce to an intellectual pursuit. Any student observed violating the following rules shall be subject to immediate suspension or dismissal. There shall be no: Use of illegal drugs. Use of derogatory language, threatening language, or abusive verbiage. Physical threats or violence. Violation of the school polices or procedures. Unauthorized use of school facilities.
KAMITH is not currently accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools or the US Department of Education.
